Most tribal payoffs care about attacking, dying, or entering the battlefield. The trigger here keys off a verb almost nothing else pays for: "becomes tapped." That makes the Treasure generation additive rather than exclusive. A Dwarf that taps to attack still makes a Treasure; a Dwarf that taps for mana still makes one; a Dwarf tapped by a convoke or crew cost makes one too. Nothing has to be sacrificed or destroyed for the tokens to flow, so the deck can lean on its mana dorks and its combat step at the same time. Five of those Treasures then feed a tutor that puts an artifact or Dragon directly onto the battlefield, skipping the cast and dodging counterspells on the way down. The lord effect and the Treasure faucet are the honest tribal engine; the sacrifice ability is a combo hook pointed at whatever the deck's biggest artifact or Dragon happens to be. A 2/1 legendary that pumps other Dwarves is a middling tribal beater by itself, and the tutor is why players build the whole list backward from a single fetch target. That fragile body wants protection before it wants payoff, since the engine dies the moment the outlaw does. Because "becomes tapped" reads the same everywhere there are Dwarves to fill the ranks, the Treasure count grows with how much of the tribe you commit rather than with any one interaction.
