Team-wide haste is rare because the effect only points one direction: it adds nothing on the turn you are defending, and its value is hostage to whatever else hits the battlefield alongside it. The wrinkle that makes this particular anthem playable is that the body carries its own gift. A 3/4 with haste attacks the moment it resolves, so the four mana buys an immediate threat that also turns every other creature you can drop that turn into an attacker. The tension is the color trio itself, an aggressive lord anchored in a Black-Red-Green identity that historically prefers grinding incremental value to racing, which makes the card more a study in opportunity cost than in raw rate. Four toughness is honest defense (it blocks most early aggressors and survives the common three-damage removal), but spending the slot on a haste-granter only pays when the rest of the deck is built to deploy threats faster than the opponent can respond. The anthem is the wager; the 3/4 with haste is the down payment that keeps the wager from being a dead turn.
