Lumengrid Warden
Three points of toughness on a two-drop that does nothing else: this is the speed bump in its plainest form, a vanilla blocker priced to absorb early aggression while a slower blue deck assembles whatever it actually wants to do. The toughness carries the entire pitch. It parks in front of one-drops and two-drops, trades up against nothing but survives most of what comes at it on the early turns, and buys the time that a tempo-poor color was always going to need. The Human Wizard line is the closest thing to a hook, and even that is decoration: there is no Wizard payoff stapled on, just a creature type the body had to carry. As a piece of early-era blue commons, it marks the floor of the curve, the kind of card printed so that more interesting spells get a turn or two to show up. It was never meant to be more than that, and the design does not pretend otherwise.
