The bounce trigger is what earns this a slot over a plain flash flier, and it reads as a tempo cost the design wants you to pay. Any creature with an enter-the-battlefield effect gets to fire it again; a creature tapped down or targeted by removal returns to safety at instant speed; a dork you'd rather hold than lose finds its way back to your hand. Flash is what unlocks all of it, letting you rebuy your own value while an opponent is tapped out, or ambush an attacker while resetting one of your own creatures out of harm's way. The trigger says "may," so with nothing worth bouncing it settles for being a 2/2 flier that drops in as a combat trick or a surprise blocker, which keeps it from stranding in a lean hand. This is a familiar shape for white's value fliers: a modest body acting as a reusable relay for one-shot enter triggers, the same structural job the color hands to its flicker and recursion effects, getting a payoff to pay out more than once. The rate is honest for its size. The body is small enough that the bounce has to justify the slot, and the flash tag is what converts an ordinary creature into interaction you can hold up.
