Loxodon Convert
Loxodon are white's reliable walls, the heaviest-toughness bodies in the color, the creatures you stand in front of an attack rather than behind one. This 4/2 inverts that read: a converted Phyrexian soldier whose math only works on the swing, never on defense. The body is a flavor argument before it is a playable one, an elephant rendered with the durability stripped out and the aggression dialed up, which is precisely what the conversion is supposed to look like. Compleated creatures across this Phyrexian cycle tend to trade the defensive virtues of their original creature type for a frailer, more violent profile, and the elephant is the cleanest demonstration of the inversion: the tribe built like a brick wall, recast as something that hits once and folds to nearly any blocker or burn spell. A common-rarity beater whose chief contribution is the picture it paints of corruption hollowing out a thing that was meant to hold the line.
