Self-mill is normally a cost, a resource you feed a graveyard engine that pays you back later. Here the mill is dressed up as an upside on both branches: whiff into a land and gain a point of life, hit anything else and ping each opponent for one. The design turns your own deck's composition into a slow coin flip, biasing toward the reach half if you run a lean land count and toward the stabilizing half if you flood. Neither trigger is large, which is the point; this is a two-mana enchantment content to grind out a single event per turn cycle for as long as it sits on the board. Where the graveyard finally becomes fuel rather than a body count is the back-end token maker: five mana and a creature card exiled from your graveyard converts the milled bodies into a tapped 3/2 Spirit, giving the incidental self-mill a payoff and a way to rebuild a board that has run dry. That is the balancing act familiar to slow attrition builds, making passive damage and life gain matter over a long game without demanding much sacrifice at deckbuilding. The answer is an enchantment that asks for almost nothing up front and slowly manufactures inevitability, one milled card and one Spirit at a time.
