A gag card that is also genuinely functional, which is the whole trick of the design. The front face is a five-mana Ancestral Recall with a downside stapled to it: three cards, three life. That downside is the engine. The transform clause is a replacement effect, not an ability you activate: "if you would lose the game, instead" catches the loss the moment it would happen and rewrites the event in place, exiling the enchantment and returning it flipped. There is no stack, no trigger, no window for anyone to respond. What comes back is a planeswalker version of you, printed with the "You" subtype as the joke, whose static line reads "You can't lose the game," so the very loss that flipped it is now impossible to repeat. The comedy is the mechanism: you sign a bad contract, it kills you, and death is the payoff. It belongs to the family of cards that intercept a game-loss, but the usual members (Platinum Angel effects) prevent the loss outright and stay put; here the enchantment has to be exiled before it can save you, then reappears as a new object. So the sequencing carries the whole fiction: the front half draws you into danger, and the back half only exists because you courted it. Once flipped, the plus and the ultimate keep grinding while your own life total sits behind a rule nothing can break. Silver-border pedigree, black-border logic, and a punchline that resolves without ever hitting the stack.
