Incidental lifegain pegged to the single most reliable trigger in the game: lands enter the battlefield constantly, and not only yours, so this enchantment turns the act of mana development into a slow drip of points. The detail that matters is that the trigger fires on every land that enters, including opponents' land drops, fetch resolutions, and any effect that puts lands onto the battlefield across the table. In a fair game that quietly doubles the natural rate, one or two life a turn rather than one, and in a multiplayer pod the count climbs faster still. The design wager is that land drops are guaranteed, which makes the gain dependable but tethered to a resource everyone deploys anyway. The wrinkle lives in breaking the once-per-turn assumption entirely: mass land recursion, fistfuls of lands from a single spell, or anything that floods the battlefield converts each entry into its own trigger, and the "you may" wording keeps it from forcing gains you do not want. By itself it is fair-rate filler from an era that priced passive enchantments conservatively, a green three-drop that touches neither the board nor your hand and only matters when a trickle of life decides a long game. Bolt it to a build that pours lands onto the battlefield and the math shifts from incidental to absurd. The card stays honest about which of those two worlds it is living in by default.
