Krosan Restorer

Creature — Human Druid2 generic manaGreen mana

Untapping a single land for three mana is the kind of effect that reads as filler until you remember what it is actually built to do: convert one creature into a mana multiplier. Tap a land for mana, untap it with this, tap it again, and you have a Druid that turns any land into a source worth two activations. The threshold mode is where the design earns its keep: once seven cards sit in your graveyard, the untap jumps to three lands at once, which means a single tap can free up six or more mana with the right surface area. That gap between the base ability and the threshold ability is the whole tension of the card. Early, it is a slow trickle; late, it is an engine, and the cost is filling a graveyard you were going to fill anyway in a green deck leaning on cycling, sacrifice, or self-mill. It sits in the lineage of mana-untap enablers that exist to enable a payoff rather than be one: pair the threshold mode with high-cost spells or X-spells and the 1/2 body becomes a ramp ritual that resets every turn. The frailty of that body is the honest tax: it dies to anything, and the engine dies with it, so the payoff has to come fast enough to matter before the removal does.
