A 13/13 at green-mana prices with no strings would be a free win; the recurring payment forces you to keep funding the thing you already spent a fortune to deploy, so the body is leased, never owned. It belongs to a school of morph payoffs built to make the concealed creature a bluff worth respecting, where the danger is not the small face-down thing on the table but the game-ender it might become. Whether the payoff justifies the green-intensive flip and the ongoing tax is the question the card poses, and it answers less generously than its raw thirteen power suggests.
