The sacrifice ability inverts the usual aristocrats math. Most outlets convert dead creatures into damage or a one-time burst; here the conversion is permanent growth on the demon plus a flexible draw-and-gain that can point at any player. Sacrifice five tokens and this 3/3 climbs to an 8/8 while someone refills their hand and pads their life total: the body is the bank where all that fodder gets deposited. The X formulation matters because it folds a board-wide sacrifice into one activation, so it functions as a clean end-of-turn dump instead of a slow one-at-a-time grind.

The partner clause is what gives it shape. This demon reaches across the color pie to Regna, the Redeemer, and the two halves were engineered to feed each other: Regna's attack trigger manufactures tokens, and this side eats them for cards, life, and counters. It is a two-card engine sold as a pair, a closed loop where the white half generates the resource and the black half cashes it in. That mutual dependency defines how the designed-partner legends were conceived: not two good cards that happen to share a keyword, but a supply line where one commander produces and the other consumes. This is the consumer, and because it works on tokens from any source, it eventually outgrows the specific partnership it was printed to complete.
