Dragon tribal has always fought the same structural problem: the payoffs cost five, six, seven mana, and the early turns spent digging toward them do nothing while you flood on lands. This three-drop answers the on-curve gap, a hasty 3/2 that swings in and burrows six cards deep for the next Dragon to cast. The filtering is the point: it looks, it doesn't refill. You see six, take at most one Dragon, and bottom the rest at random, so the card sculpts your draws toward the bombs without stuffing your hand with lands or spare threats. Haste earns its keep through timing rather than aggression, since the look triggers on attack rather than arrival: no summoning-sick turn wasted, and every swing becomes another peek beneath the next card you'd draw. Even a whiff isn't blank, since it still applies pressure while burying six chaff cards under your deck. With few Dragons it's mostly a fast attacker that occasionally cycles a dead look; surrounded by them, each combat becomes a selection engine feeding the expensive top end. It rewards a critical mass of Dragons without being one itself, bridging a slow tribe's clumsy early turns and its haymakers.
