Knight Rampager

Artifact Creature — Knight4 generic manaRed mana

The trade the card asks for is control: you get a 6/5 trampler for five mana, but you no longer choose where it points. The Frenzied Rampage clause forces an attack into a random opponent every combat, and the death trigger fires 4 damage at a random opponent, so both ends of the creature's life cycle are dice rolls rather than decisions. That randomness is the whole design conceit: this is a bruiser that models a berserker who cannot be aimed, and it commits to that flavor hard enough that the pilot surrenders the two moments a big creature usually earns its keep (picking the profitable block-breaker and choosing the spite target when it dies). The upside is that the death trigger deals its damage regardless of who it lands on, which means the card is never a wasted death, only an unaimed one. In a multiplayer pod the random-opponent clauses turn political calculus into a coin flip, which is either a liability or a feature depending on who you were planning to fight; the card removes the negotiation that usually surrounds a threat this size. What sets it apart from other creatures built around a mono-random directive is how far it pushes the idea: a body large enough to matter, paired with two triggers you will watch happen rather than steer.
