Kitesail Corsair
Conditional evasion that costs nothing extra to switch on. Flying that exists only while attacking means this body sails over ground creatures the turn it swings, then folds its wings the moment combat ends, leaving a plain 2/1 that must block from the dirt on the crackback. A clock that connects but does not defend: that split is the entire design. It runs Wind Drake down to essentials and sharpens the trade, so instead of paying full freight for permanent flight on a fragile two-drop, you pay nothing and accept that the evasion is a one-way street pointed at your opponent's face. For an aggressive Pirate looking to land hits (to turn on raid, carry an equipment, or simply chip a life total), the restriction barely registers; offense only cares about the attack step. The bill comes due on defense, where the missing flying reduces it to a body that trades like the near-vanilla creature it is. This is an aggressive blue weenie that wants to commit to the red zone and stay there, an evasive-when-it-counts threat built for a board already tilted toward the attack.
