The anthem here is not static: it scales with a value that starts at zero every turn and you have to rebuild, since X counts only the creatures that entered under your control this turn. That single-turn window is the entire design. A conventional lord gives a flat, permanent boost you can plan around; this one hands you a burst that evaporates at cleanup, so its value lives entirely in how many bodies you can flood the board with before combat. The enchantment addresses that math on its own: the begin-combat trigger manufactures a Kithkin token every turn, guaranteeing X is at least one when you swing and giving a token-and-go-wide strategy a self-sustaining floor even when your hand is empty. Stack that on top of a turn where you've cast three creatures and dropped a couple more from other sources, and the pump balloons across the whole team at once, then vanishes. The structural consequence is that it punishes durdling and rewards dumping your hand: the reward is front-loaded, spent in a single combat step, and gone. It is a go-wide payoff dressed as a lord, and the distinction matters, because you cannot hold it in reserve the way you would a permanent anthem. You commit, you attack, and the board resets its multiplier the moment the turn ends.
