Kalonian Twingrove

Two bodies indexed to the same number: the count of Forests you control. Variable-stat treefolk have appeared in many guises, but this one comes with a twin built into its arrival. The creature resolves as one body; its enters trigger then makes a second token whose stats read off the same Forest count, so once the trigger settles you have a matched pair growing in lockstep. The token copies only the power/toughness clause, not the enters ability, so it does not chain into a third body; what it gives you is a second attacker sized identically to the first, no anthem effects required. The tension worth naming is that the shared variable is also a shared vulnerability of a peculiar kind: because both bodies read directly off Forests (basics or any land carrying the Forest subtype) rather than off counters or +1/+1 buffs, they scale together and cannot be trimmed piecemeal. Every Forest you add pumps both at once; every Forest that leaves (a Strip Mine, a Ghost Quarter) shrinks both at once. It rewards a green land base that treats each drop as a growth curve rather than mere mana. The catch is the floor: with few Forests down, both creatures are small, and there is no haste, no evasion, nothing protecting the link beyond the bodies themselves. It asks the deck to commit fully to Forests before it pays out anything at all.
