The clone with a tribal leash. Most copy creatures will become anything on the board: an opposing bomb, your own utility threat, whatever the moment demands. This one only enters as a copy of an Ally, which sounds like a strict downgrade until you notice what that restriction buys. Allies were a tribe built on enters-the-battlefield triggers that count themselves, so each new Ally pumps the team or drains the opponent or stacks counters depending on which leaders are out. A clone that arrives reading as an Ally fires those triggers a second time, then keeps participating every time something else lands. It is less a body than a multiplier slotted into an engine that already wanted bodies. The printed 0/0 is doing real work here: copy nothing and it dies on entry, so the card is genuinely dead outside a deck built around the tribe, and exactly that dependency is what lets it be priced where it is. The deeper wrinkle is that copying a leader copies the leader's own rally trigger, which means the Shapeshifter can re-trigger itself the instant it sees another arrival. Among clones gated entirely behind a creature type, few are built to feed an explicitly additive payoff rather than to steal the biggest thing across the table.
