Land

The fetchland everyone wishes it were, minus the part that makes fetchlands good. Where Bloodstained Mire grabs its land at no extra mana, untapped, and lets a dual-land manabase do the rest, this version asks for an extra mana, fetches only basics, and brings them in tapped. The trade-off has a floor: it taps for one colorless even when you are sitting on it, so it always does something the turn you play it rather than waiting on the extra mana to crack. What it really does is launder a fixing-light deck into a three-color base over the course of a game, thinning a basic out of the library and smoothing a draw while costing you tempo at every step. That tempo cost is the whole pitch and the whole problem: a turn-three triple-color cast is off the table unless you crack it early enough for the tapped basic to untap in time. The reward beyond fixing is incidental but real for anything that counts lands leaving the battlefield or wants graveyard fuel, since the sacrifice fires a land-from-play trigger and the colorless tap keeps it relevant before then. This is budget-tier fixing for a Black-Red-Green deck that prizes consistency over speed, the kind of land you run when reliability matters more than the half-turn it quietly takes from you.
