Cost reduction on a two-drop body is a familiar engine template: an anthem-style discount stapled to a cheap creature, aimed at a deck built to abuse it. What separates this version from a pure discount-on-a-stick is that the body earns its keep on its own. A 2/2 with lifelink is a real blocker and a real racer; even when the discount finds nothing to reduce, it is a creature you were happy to spend two mana on, not a dead draw waiting for the rest of the hand to show up. The enchantment-spell clause is the steering wheel: it does nothing for creatures or instants that lack the enchantment type, so it rewards the specific brand of Auras, Sagas, and enchantment creatures a green-white shell already wants to chain. Cut the cost of two enchantment spells in a turn and it has paid for itself; keep it alive across several turns and the discount compounds into curve-breaking tempo. The lifelink is doing quiet double duty, since the payoffs it discounts skew toward the go-wide and grindy enchantment strategies where incremental life stops being a rounding error and starts buying turns. That is the harder needle than the modest rate suggests: a build-around that does not punish you for not having the build yet, a body worth casting on turn two that only gets better as the deck around it fills in.
