Joraga Invocation

Sorcery4 generic manaGreen manaGreen mana

The forced-block rider is the rarer half of this design, and it works differently than the team pump suggests. Green has no shortage of overrun effects; the line of green cards that compel the opponent to engage combat (rather than just shoving damage through) is a smaller and stranger tradition. The clause reads on your attackers, not the defender's blockers: each of your creatures must be blocked if able, which forces the defending player to commit at least one blocker to every attacker they can cover. They can still double-block, and any surplus creatures are free to pile onto whichever attacker they want; what they lose is the option to take the damage and hold the whole board. Every creature you send in draws a blocker if the opponent can spare one, and the +3/+3 is the payload that turns those forced trades lopsided, often with trample cleaning up the overflow. The cost is the constraint: six mana, two green pips, at sorcery speed, dropped onto a battlefield you have already committed to. That is a lot of scaffolding for a one-turn effect, which is exactly why the card wants you wide first and casting second. An empty board gives it nothing; a developed one lets it dictate how the defender spends their creatures. The sorcery timing is the tell. This is not a blowout you hold up during their attack, but a premeditated alpha strike you announce on your own turn, after the board is already tilted your way.
