Jester's Mask

Where the era's other hand attacks burned cards away, this one takes the meaner route: it doesn't destroy your opponent's hand so much as replace it under your control. Their cards go to the top of their library, then you search that library and deal them an equal number of cards of your choosing. That is the whole trick, and it reads gentler than it plays: you decide what they are holding next turn. Fire it on an opponent whose hand is the threat (a clutch of countermagic, a held combo, cards they are sandbagging) and you bury the known quantity, then hand them whatever you judge least dangerous, the lands and the dead draws, while their answers sink into the shuffle. The enters-tapped clause and the sacrifice cost wall it off from being a repeatable engine: it is a one-shot intervention, paid for in full, with the slow telegraph of a turn spent waiting for it to untap. Where Mind Twist forces discards and Hymn to Tourach strips cards at random, this one rummages through the opponent's library and chooses their next hand for them, and it does so on a colorless artifact. The design comes from a stretch when Wizards still treated reaching into another deck to remake a hand as a color-neutral effect, something any artifact could do, rather than the blue prerogative it has since become.
