The first ability is pure color-pie hostility, a recurring blue-permanent assassin that costs only a red, a tap, and a discard; it punishes counterspell decks by handing you a permanent threat that erases their permanents one at a time. The second staples Incinerate to the body: three damage to any target with a regeneration-proof clause, repeatable removal or reach you can fire every turn so long as your hand keeps feeding it. The third is the late-game payoff that justifies the package, a symmetrical Earthquake variant dealing six to each creature and each player, you included. That symmetry is the point: it is a reset you sequence into a kill or build a life cushion around, not a free sweep. The discard cost compounds the squeeze. Each activation spends a card, so this is a card-disadvantage engine that demands you generate parity elsewhere or simply close before you run dry. Designed in an era before red had reliable card draw, it reads as a thesis on how the color was meant to leverage resources: spend the hand, dictate the board, and win while you still have cards to pitch. The flavor only sharpens it, a character defined by reckless, total commitment to the spell at hand.
