Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief
A triggered ability that reads every single-target creature spell at the table and offers to make a second copy aimed at Ivy herself. The trigger is written to the narrowest possible spell shape: it wants exactly one creature target, never Ivy, and the copy always redirects to her. That mandatory redirect is what shapes the card and what keeps it honest. Copying an opponent's removal would just kill your own flier, so the ability rewards buffs and blessings far more than it steals kills. A Giant Growth cast directly on Ivy resolves normally but never fires her ability (she cannot be the sole target for it to trigger), but the same pump aimed at another one of your attackers copies onto her for free, and an Aura headed anywhere on your board resolves as a token attached to a 2/1 flier. Where it bends a game is in shared-enhancement play: every friendly combat trick and Aura the deck contains can be mirrored onto one evasive body, letting her snowball off spells that were never pointed at her in the first place. The Aura clause is doing quiet rules work, spelling out that a copied Aura spell resolves as a token rather than as a permanent entering play from the stack. Redirection built as a reward for stacking targeted enhancement, provided the enhancement is landing on a creature that is not Ivy.
