Irregular Cohort
Two 2/2 bodies for four mana, both of them universal in creature type: a card that reads as Goblin, Elf, Merfolk, Sliver, and Zombie simultaneously, so it never has to choose sides in a tribal deck. Changeling was built to fix the arithmetic that hampers typal aggro, where an Elf card and a Merfolk card refuse to feed each other's lords; a body that qualifies for every "creatures you control of the chosen type" clause lets a "lords matter" shell round out its curve without splitting its type-line count. Doubling that effect onto one card is where this design earns its slot: each body feeds the same anthem triggers, counts toward the same board-wide payoffs, and trades against removal that only clears one of them. The rate is deliberately flat (no evasion, no protection, just a 2/2 that makes a 2/2), because the value lives in the type math rather than the stats. It sits among the doubled-changeling effects that hand typal builds a body-count engine, and among those it is the cleanest white version: no conditions, no color-pair gating, just two universal creatures for a color that already wants to go wide.
