Iron Man, Modern Marvel
The design brief here is transparent: build a lord that turns a pile of artifact creatures into a fast clock and a card-advantage engine, then gate the payoff behind actually fielding a board. The anthem clause reads simply, but the attacking draw is what carries the weight. It only fires if you already control another artifact creature, so the card refuses to reward an empty board; the draw comes as a bonus on top of a swarm you were already committed to, not a reason to run the card solo. That conditional is what stops the effect from being a free repeatable cantrip. Note the timing: it draws on declaration of the attack, not on damage, so the card fills your hand even if a blocker stops the swing cold. Chump or otherwise, blockers do not deny you the card; they only cost the attacker its life if you let it trade. As a construct, it sits in a familiar tribal-lord lineage (buff the team, generate resources when the team performs) but points that framework at artifacts rather than a creature type, folding it into the long tradition of artifact-matters payoffs. The flying body then does its own quiet work: an evasive 3/3 survives to attack turn after turn, keeping the draw firing while ground stalls pile up. The result is a piece built to sit atop an artifact-creature curve and convert width into speed and cards at once.
