Infested Thrinax
Flash is the entire reason to reach for this over any static death-payoff, because it lets you choose the exact moment the trigger comes online. The catch the body's clean rate hides is that this is not a permanent aura on the board: the death-payoff is a one-turn window that vanishes at cleanup, even though the 4/4 Lizard sticks around. Drop it on your own turn with nothing dying and you get a body and nothing else. The line that unlocks it is to hold it up and flash it in response to a board wipe, so it resolves before your creatures start hitting the yard and converts the sweeper into a wave of Saprolings. Because the trigger reads each dying creature's power rather than paying a flat number, it rewards a board built tall: a 4/4 that dies pays four tokens, and a wide, beefy aristocrats board turns one sweeper into a green flood. The nontoken clause stops the loop from feeding itself, since the Saprolings it makes cannot pay back in; only your real creatures count when they die. That restriction dictates the shell: a critical mass of expendable nontoken bodies and a reason to want them dead. It lives at the sacrifice-and-recur end of black-green alongside the Grave Pact and Blood Artist payoffs, but where those drain, this builds board presence, and its instant-speed window is what sets it apart from the sorcery-speed engines it shares a deck with.
