This one carries a hidden aggressive engine underneath that stat line: cross a four-counter threshold and the body flips into an unblockable 3/3 that closes games. The gap between three and four is the entire tension. Three does nothing; four is a clock. That forces a spells-heavy shell willing to spend the early turns accruing counters before the reward arrives, and it rewards a deck already casting noncreature spells (cantrips, cheap removal, interaction) for their own reasons, converting a passive blocker into an evasive finisher off cards it was going to run regardless. Because the counters neither cap nor reset, the payoff is durable across a long game rather than a one-turn burst; that permanence is the difference between a spells-matters bribe and something that changes how you sequence a turn. It belongs to a counters-on-permanents design language where a resource accrues on a creature and gates an ability behind a specific count. The unblockable clause is what earns the slot: evasion removes the single lever an opponent has against a small attacker, and stapling it to a body that already survived combat makes chasing the threshold worthwhile. The result is a creature that pulls double duty from one resource, defending while it fills, then abandoning the wall the moment it has enough fuel to end the game.
