Hypervolt Grasp

Enchantment — Aura2 generic manaRed mana

The design splits this card down a color seam: red builds the weapon, blue keeps it portable. Stapling a Prodigal Sorcerer's pinger ability onto any creature is already a red-flavored aggression engine, but the second line is where the design leans on its splash. The return clause is the answer to the oldest problem with Auras, which is that they two-for-one you the moment the host leaves. For two mana, one of it blue, you can bounce the Aura to hand in response to removal aimed at the creature, or before a death-causing effect resolves, salvaging the investment a kill spell usually pockets for free. That same clause turns the Aura into a reusable trigger source: replay it on a fresh body to re-stack enters-the-battlefield effects, or float it back before a board wipe and recast it after. The blue activation is an insurance premium you pay only when the trade is about to go against you, which makes the host's death a decision rather than a loss. It rewards a deck that wants a pinger but cannot afford to surrender the engine to a single removal spell, and it asks the pilot to keep that bounce mana in reserve as a standing option. A modest effect with an unusually durable delivery system.
