Howling Giant
Seven mana for a 5/5 with reach and two 2/2 Wolves is nine power spread across three bodies, and that split is the entire design. The value never lives in a single creature you can answer with a single removal spell: kill the Giant on the way down and the Wolves still stick, so the usual counterplay to an expensive fatty (spend a card and net the tempo swing) collapses into a two-for-one that leaves the caster ahead on bodies. Those Wolves are deliberately generic, 2/2s that read as fodder to a sacrifice deck, as pump targets to an anthem plan, and as a head start to anything going wide. Reach is the quiet efficiency: one card patrolling both the ground and the air rather than a second blocker committed to the plan. Nothing here breaks open new territory. It is a legible, fixed-cost curve-topper of the sort green keeps reprinting because the job (turn one big turn into a resilient board) never stops being useful.
