Hollowhead Sliver
Where the tribe's lords hand out combat keywords (flying, haste, evasion, the buffs that turn a wide board into a hive), this one distributes a rummaging engine instead. Every Sliver you control becomes a tap-to-loot outlet, so the swarm converts dead draws into live ones and dumps whatever the board no longer needs. The design logic is throughput scaling with creature count: one Sliver is a single filter, five is a repeatable dig that runs as fast as your hand can feed it. That last clause is where the discipline lives. Because a card must be discarded before the ability resolves, an empty hand shuts the whole battery off; this is selection, not advantage, and it cannot refill you from nothing. That constraint is what stops a repeatable smoother from being oppressive on a tribe already built to flood the battlefield. The hive's card flow has historically come from narrow one-shot bodies that traded themselves for reach, and sustained gas was the thing the archetype rarely had. This supplies it, and it spends creature count rather than cards to do so, which is the structural answer to the swarm's classic failure mode: running dry after the opening rush, holding a board that can no longer find its next threat.
