Hollow Scavenger // Bakery Raid
Cast for one green mana, Bakery Raid banks a Food token and stashes a 3/2 Wolf in exile to summon on a later turn. That split payment is the point: the token you generate up front is precisely what the Wolf later eats for its +2/+2 pump, so the cost of a self-fueling threat spreads across two turns instead of arriving all at once. The once-per-turn cap on the sacrifice ability keeps the body from spiraling into a single-card kill, but it also signals that the token this card makes on its own is only a starter meal. Where most sacrifice-for-value creatures ask you to supply a separate Food or token engine before they do anything, this one shows up with its first fuel already secured, then keeps consuming whatever else a Food economy produces. Payoff and modest engine occupy a single slot here, made for a game plan that treats Food as currency to spend down rather than a decorative leftover.
