Highspire Artisan
Fabricate's whole design conceit is the choice between body and board, and this is the slot where that choice tilts most decisively toward the second option. A 0/3 with reach that either becomes a 1/4 reaching blocker or a 0/3 that brings a Servo along, and most of the time you want the token: the artisan's own offense is nominal, so the counter mostly buys a sturdier wall while the Servo feeds whatever cares about artifacts or bodies on the battlefield. The result reads less as a green creature than as a green-flavored artifact engine, the rare ground-stalling Elf whose payoff lives outside its own stat line. The reach frame is green doing exactly what green is supposed to do (reach is the color's native answer to flyers), so the defensive half costs nothing extra in deckbuilding; the question is only what the enters-trigger leaves behind. What it is built for is supplying an artifact-matters or sacrifice shell with a fixed-value token while holding the line, a humble engine piece rather than a threat in its own right. The fabricate keyword wraps a familiar tension (bigger, or two of it?) around a body whose own combat math barely registers, which is exactly why the token half almost always wins the decision.
