Seven toughness parks the creature above most red burn and the bulk of combat damage a card its size would meet, which makes it a wall a slower deck can shelter behind; five power means a topdeck still threatens to end the game over three or four swings. The colorless cost does the rest of the work: castable in any deck regardless of color, it is a brick of stats with no strings attached, the kind of high-end filler that anchors the expensive end of a set's curve without asking the player to build around anything. There is no synergy hook to chase and no payoff to engineer. A design like this exists to give a set a clean, color-agnostic top-end body that does exactly what it prints, earning its slot by being honest about what it is and nothing more.
