Hero of the Nyxborn
Aggro decks pay a premium for two-for-ones, and this one folds that premium into a body that also rewards the exact spells such decks already run. The token on entry means three mana buys two bodies of ground pressure at once, but the second ability points somewhere more interesting: every combat trick or pump spell you aim at it doesn't just save the creature, it fans out into a team-wide +1/+0 that turns a defensive protection spell into an alpha-strike enabler. That inversion is the interesting part. Most targeting-payoff creatures ask you to protect them and treat the protection as a tax; this one converts the protection into offense, so the spell you cast to keep it alive is simultaneously the spell that pushes lethal through a stalled board. The reward scales with your creature count, which quietly nudges the deckbuilder toward going wide rather than tall, and it stacks: two spells targeting it in a turn is +2/+0 across the whole team. It belongs to a run of white-red designs where casting spells on your own creatures is the plan rather than an accident, but the twist here is that the payoff lands on the whole board instead of the one creature you targeted, which is a meaningfully different axis for a go-wide deck.
