Each activation adds your full artifact count to its power, and because the cost is repeatable within a turn, there is no cap beyond the red mana you can pour into it: a deck with a dozen artifacts on the board turns this into a one-swing kill the moment it connects. That structure is what ties it to artifact-density strategies specifically. It is not a generic beater you splash into any red deck; it scales with a board state you have to build toward, and it rewards going wide on cheap permanents the way most aggressive payoffs reward going tall on a single threat. Haste matters more than it first reads here, because the activation cost is the bottleneck rather than the summoning cost: the turn it lands, with mana left over, it can already represent lethal in the air against an opponent who counted your visible power and assumed a 5/5 was the ceiling. The design lesson is in the asymmetry between the floor and the ceiling. The printed stats describe a fair card; the artifact count describes the real one, and the gap between them is entirely a function of the deck you put it in.
