Hellhole Flailer
Unleash distilled the whole Rakdos pitch into one keyword: trade your defense for damage, and never blink about it. The choice it offers is unusually clean for a midrange creature. Enter as a 3/2 that can block and grind, or take the counter and arrive a 4/3 that can only ever come forward. Most decks that wanted this body had already decided which side of that question they were on before the game started. The sacrifice ability is the second gear, converting whatever power has been banked (swing-boosted or not) into a direct hit to a player or planeswalker. That turns an otherwise expendable beater into a closer: a creature you were happy to throw into the red zone every turn becomes a guaranteed last point of reach when the board stalls or a removal spell threatens to strand it. The unleash counter and the burn outlet pull in the same direction, since the version you most want to fling is the bigger one, and the bigger one was already locked into attacking. It is a small, coherent piece of color-pie engineering: a Rakdos creature that refuses to play defense and rewards you for committing to that refusal twice over.
