Landfall, stripped of color and everything else that usually rides along. Most cards built around the keyword bundle the trigger with a payoff that sticks: a token, a permanent counter, a damage ping. This one offers the rawest version of the bonus, a temporary +1/+1 that stacks freely and resets at the end of the turn. That impermanence is the entire transaction. The card does not bank value across turns; it asks you to dump lands on a single combat step and swing with whatever the count produces. A fetchland is the cleanest illustration: it triggers once when it enters, then again when the land it fetches enters, so cracking it mid-combat can briefly inflate the body by two. A turn with two or three land drops can turn a 1/1 into a genuine attacker until end of turn before it shrinks back. The colorless cost is the quiet design point. Landfall lived in colors built around ramp and grinding, but a Construct with no color requirement slots into any shell pointed toward extra land drops, a wider net than the keyword's origins suggest. Nothing about the rate is meant to impress; a 1/1 whose growth depends entirely on the deck around it is a build-around, not a default include. What it represents is the keyword's mechanical floor: no fixing, no card advantage, no recursion attached, just lands-in equals power-up, gone by the next turn.
