Graveyard hate worn as a creature: a Scarecrow you commit to the board before you know which graveyard threat you're answering, then throw away at instant speed when the question finally arrives. The exile is targeted and singular (one card, not the whole yard), which keeps it surgical rather than a blowout: it answers a flashback spell, a single recursion target, the one creature an opponent wants to reanimate, then leaves. The body is not worth discussing for its rate, since a 1/1 for one does nothing on the table alone, but for the way the effect sits pre-loaded and out of reach. An exile already deployed cannot be answered the way a yet-to-be-cast spell can be countered: it is a question mark standing in play, the answer chambered until the recursion engine turns on. Crucially, the sacrifice ability carries no tap cost, so it fires the moment the Doll lands; summoning sickness never gates it. Meanwhile it chumps, fills an artifact count, or wears an equipment. That waiting is also where the weakness lives. A free-to-cast graveyard-hate artifact like Tormod's Crypt deploys for nothing and clears an entire graveyard at once, where this asks you to spend a mana up front, telegraph the answer as a creature, and accept a single target in exchange. It is built for the player who wants their answer sitting in play, holding station against one specific recursion plan rather than reacting to a whole graveyard at once.
