Five mana for a 3/2 and two 1/1 tokens is not a rate that turns heads, but the split across three bodies is the point: a single removal spell trades down against a board that keeps standing. The hybrid cost is what lets it slot into either half of its color pair without a fixed manabase, and dropping three creatures at once is exactly the kind of fodder that feeds go-wide payoffs and sacrifice engines. Nothing here is doing new work; token-generating midrange creatures have been printed at this rate for years, and the design is content to be a reliable body that populates a board rather than a card that demands to be built around. What it offers is redundancy: one card resolves into three creatures that anthem effects, convoke costs, and blink triggers can all leverage. Because the token generation fires on arrival rather than through an activation, blinking or recurring the body simply reprints the pair, no mana or timing hoops attached. Plain, functional, and built for a tribe that wants numbers on the table more than it wants a single large threat.
