Haze of Rage

The collision of Storm and Buyback is the whole engine here, and it points straight at a kill. Storm copies the spell once for every spell already cast this turn, so a low storm count still produces a stack of +1/+0 pumps that stick until end of turn. Buyback returns the card to your hand on resolution, meaning each cast adds to the storm count, refuels the next cast, and is itself one of the spells the next copy will count. That recursion is the loop a dedicated build wants: chain enough cheap rituals and the card buys itself back over and over, pushing storm higher each iteration and turning a board of small attackers into lethal in a single combat step. The restraint is the mana. The pump is only +1/+0, not +1/+1 or anything that survives the turn, so it does nothing without bodies already on the battlefield and nothing the turn after. Buyback costs a real two on top of the base cast, so the loop only goes positive when you are generating mana faster than you are spending it. This is a payoff card masquerading as a combat trick: it asks for a critical mass of cheap spells and a ritual-heavy mana engine, and rewards that setup with a finish that scales with how much you have already done this turn rather than with the line of text printed on it.
