Havengul Runebinder

A token-and-counters payoff stranded in the color least built to support it. Each activation runs two steps in sequence, and the order is the whole engine: it makes a fresh 2/2 black Zombie, then pumps every Zombie you control, the newcomer included. The first crank yields one Zombie carrying a single counter. By the fifth, the new token arrives and the buff sweeps it plus the four already on board, so a row that began as disposable bodies climbs into escalating threats without another spell cast. The Wizard itself never grows; it builds an army that does. The fuel is the constraint. Exiling a creature card per activation drains the graveyard fast, forcing a genuine choice between feeding the Runebinder and keeping any other graveyard plan alive: the harder you crank it, the faster you starve anything else that wants those same dead creatures. The blue identity is the genuinely odd part. Going wide on tokens with anthem-style buffs reads as black-and-white territory, and the aristocrat shells that hoard graveyard fodder live in black. Here the support has to come from blue's own toolkit (mill, looting, self-discard to stock the bin), so the deckbuilding leans less on a sacrifice engine and more on filling the yard to begin with. It is a slow engine built around one tapped Wizard, a stuffed graveyard, and a pilot willing to treat dead creatures as ammunition rather than recursion targets.
