A Dungeons & Dragons class-draw engine dressed as a combat trigger, and one whose payout arrives the moment you declare the attack rather than when it connects. That distinction matters: this fires on attack, not on combat damage, so a defender's chump or a blowout in the damage step costs you only the body, never the value it already banked. What gates the reward is the four-class filter that maps a D&D party (Cleric, Rogue, Warrior, Wizard); the digging runs only as deep as your creature base is typed, so a roster stacked with those classes turns each swing into a four-card look that can pull as many as four at once, while a deck indifferent to the theme leaves the trigger nearly empty. The 3/1 flying body is the wager behind that ceiling: it lands early and pressures over the ground, but a lone point of damage or the smallest flier ends the engine, so keeping a fragile attacker alive to compound value becomes the whole game plan. The class-matters framing is what elevates a generic selection creature into a payoff that demands a tribal constraint loose enough to satisfy without contorting a curve, since those four types blanket most of white's roster and much of the game besides. A value spigot for the player already committed to the class theme, and inert for anyone who is not.
