Hardened Escort
The 2/4 body is the tell. This is a defensive stat line stapled to an aggressive trigger, and the mismatch is the whole design: a wall-shaped creature that only pays off when it swings. On attack, it hands another creature you control (never itself; the trigger reads "another target creature") +1/+0 and indestructible until end of turn. The buff is lopsided by construction, and deliberately so: the +1/+0 is a rounding error, but the indestructible clause is the load-bearing half. It turns a favorable-but-risky attack into a free one, walks a key threat past a bigger blocker, and blanks any "destroy" removal an opponent holds up during combat. The four toughness is what lets the escort survive the blockers it runs into and swing again next turn, doing the same work on a loop. That repeatability is the archetype it serves: the go-wide white deck that wants a creature capable of both holding the fort early and shepherding a lethal turn later, without ever changing what's in play or asking to be the thing protected. It is a support piece from the ground up, always the one doing the escorting, never the escorted.
