Halvar, God of Battle // Sword of the Realms

The double strike clause is the whole reason to run the God face, and it doubles as a build-around thesis: the 4/4 body sits behind a static effect that turns any Aura or Equipment on your team into a lethal multiplier. Most anthem-style gods reward going wide; this one rewards going deep on attachments, and it comes with a support piece to make that reliable. The combat-step reattachment lets you slide a single buff (a lone Aura, one good Equipment) onto whichever attacker matters that turn, so you are not required to over-invest across the board to earn the double-strike payoff. The modal-double-faced structure is where this earns its slot: it is not a creature that transforms, but a card that asks you which half you need right now. Halvar is the engine you cast when you already have attachments on board; Sword of the Realms is the answer when you would rather commit a small, cheap threat and keep replaying it. The Sword grants no double strike of its own, so it does not extend Halvar's payoff, but its death-recursion clause is the interesting line, bouncing the equipped creature back to hand rather than losing it. That quietly rewards deliberately expendable attackers, since a chump-block or a sacrifice becomes a rebuy. Folding a team-wide combat multiplier and a resilient single-target buff into one choice-of-face card is unusually flexible throughput.
