A mana dork wearing a second job. The first line is the familiar green fixer, a 2/3 that taps for any color, the kind of ramp-and-splash enabler green has printed in various shapes for years. The second line is where the design tilts sideways: a repeatable, sorcery-speed ability that only ever finds a Spider, and only ever adds one counter at a time. That narrowness is deliberate. Web Support costs to activate, exactly what the creature costs to cast, and does nothing outside a board plan built around arachnids, so it is priced and gated as a payoff you commit to rather than a value engine you get for free. The design problem underneath is how to bolt a tribal reward onto a color-fixing body without landing on a strictly-better dork: restrict the upside to a single creature type, restrict the timing to your own main phase, and charge full freight for each individual counter. What results plays two entirely different roles depending on where it lands. In a generic ramp shell it is a fixer with text you will never activate; in a dedicated Spider build it is a slow mana sink that pours surplus green into a single growing threat, one point of pressure at a time. The flavor gag (the unglamorous handler feeding support to something far more dangerous than he is) maps cleanly onto the mechanics, the rare case where a joke name earns its place on the rules text.
