A wall that grows a spine. The 0/4 body reads as pure defense, and against ground aggression it never leaves that role, but the buff clause ties its offense to your board state rather than its own printed power. The design trick is the split between the two halves of the stat line: the toughness is fixed and reliable, so the creature blocks the same when the board is empty as when it is cluttered, while the power is a live readout of how much artifact material you have assembled. Because it is itself an artifact, it counts itself, so it is never below a 1/4 on the battlefield; every Treasure, every Equipment, every servo or token artifact you already wanted to cast pushes it further past the point where a nominal defensive flier starts closing games from the air. That is the whole flexibility of it: the same card is a blocker in one shell and an evasive finisher in another without a word of its text changing. The ceiling is baked in too, since strip your artifacts down to the creature alone and it pressures nothing worth respecting. It is a payoff, not a standalone threat: it rewards a critical mass you were building anyway, then converts that mass into flying damage the moment the count climbs high enough.
