Groundskeeper

Creature — Human DruidGreen mana

The recursion engine that lands in the wrong color era. Green's mana-fixing tradition has always pointed forward (search the library, ramp the count, fetch the land you do not yet have), but this little druid does the opposite: it asks how many times you can reuse a basic you already drew and lost. The activation is repeatable and cheap enough that, given a discard outlet or a fetch effect that mills lands into the bin, it turns a graveyard full of dead basics into a renewable resource. That is the design hook: it converts a one-time draw into an iterative one, which makes it a quiet enabler for any plan that wants to throw lands away and get them back (cycling-style discard, dredge-adjacent self-mill, anything that treats the graveyard as a second hand). The limit baked into the rate is deliberate. It only returns basics, and only one per activation at a cost of two mana, so the loop is real but slow; you are not assembling a turn-three combo off it, you are grinding a long game where every land that hits the yard is recoverable. A 1/1 for a single green sets the price low enough that the body is incidental and the ability is the whole point: a tiny creature whose job is to make a deck's manabase functionally bottomless against any opponent trying to attrition it dry.
