Groundshaker Sliver
Trample is the keyword the hive needed most and the one its lords were slowest to grant. A board of token-wide, evasion-light bodies stalls the instant it meets a single fat blocker; the swarm's whole proposition is that small creatures stack into a flood, and a flood with no outlet just sits there. Granting trample across the entire board converts every Sliver's accumulated power into reach, so the chip damage from a wall of 2/2s and 3/3s becomes pressure a single chump block can no longer absorb. The cost is the catch: seven mana for a 5/5 is a steep tax in a tribe built on cheap, snowballing curves, and the body itself contributes little beyond carrying the keyword. This is the late-curve payoff piece, the lord you reach for after the cheaper ones have already assembled the board you are trying to push through, not an early enabler. It belongs to the long tradition of single-keyword Slivers (the ones that hand out flying, haste, or first strike), where each printing's worth is measured entirely by how badly the swarm wants that specific form of reach. Trample ranks high on that list precisely because it scales with everything else the hive is doing: every point of power the board accrues is a point this card turns into damage that has to land.
