Grist, the Hunger Tide
A planeswalker that is a 1/1 Insect everywhere except the battlefield, and that single clause rewrites where the card can legally travel. Off the battlefield it gets fetched, tutored, and reanimated as a creature; it can be answered by creature-specific counters like Essence Scatter as it enters; and once it reaches the graveyard it counts toward every "creatures in your graveyard" tally, including the count its own ultimate drains from. Leading a green-black Insect deck while remaining a planeswalker after it resolves is a genuinely novel construction, and the design refuses to pick a side between the two types.
The loyalty engine feeds the tribe it manufactures. The plus makes an Insect token and mills a card, and if that mill turns up an Insect card, it re-plusses and mills again, so a library seeded with Insects can chain a single activation into a growing board and a stocked graveyard. The minus-two is sacrifice-fueled removal that reaches planeswalkers, and it stuffs the same yard the ultimate cares about. Every mode points one direction: pile creatures in the graveyard, then convert the count into loyalty, spot removal, or a life-total swing. It is a rare case where the type-line trick and the ability suite are the same idea told twice: an aristocrats sacrifice-and-recur plan compressed into three loyalty and a body that was never quite a creature and never quite not.
