Grazing Kelpie
Two graveyard-facing mechanics share one body, and the friction between them is what turns a single-use answer into a small engine. Persist wants the Beast dead so it can come back; the sacrifice ability also wants it dead, this time to tuck one card from any graveyard onto the bottom of its owner's library. Stack them and you get self-replacing disruption: sacrifice it, let persist return it, sacrifice it again, and two cards leave opposing yards before the Beast stays gone for good. Persist caps the loop at one extra cycle, since the returning creature comes back with a -1/-1 counter and cannot trigger persist a second time unless something strips that downside and reopens the engine. The hybrid pip in both cost and activation does the rest, letting the ability fire off green or blue and slotting the card into a mono-colored graveyard plan as readily as a two-color one. The effect is gentle by graveyard-hate standards: a scalpel, not a sweeper. It bottoms exactly one card rather than exiling anything, leaving the target redrawable but answering the precise problem at the moment it bites: a reanimation spell already on the stack, denied its mark before it resolves; a flashback spell waiting to be recast; a single piece of delve fuel that pushes a Tasigur, the Golden Fang or a Gurmag Angler out of reach. Persist quietly upgrades a modest ability into a two-for-one, and the lone flexible mana keeps each activation cheaper than the disruption it buys.
